FightBox is proud to announce that MMA Bushido, one of Europe’s longest-running mixed martial arts promotions, returns to live action from Minsk, Belarus on Saturday November 28th starting at 9:00 pm CET (10:00 pm local time).
MMA Bushido, the mixed martial arts branch of King of Kings, will present ten fights inside the cage. This event is co-promoted by the NFG promotion in Belarus and is entitled “Mortal Kombat”. This is the first caged MMA Bushido event since the outbreak of COVID-19.
The main attraction of the evening is a four-man heavyweight grand-prix tournament. It’s not so often that you find one-night MMA tournaments these days, due to their brutal nature. On this night four men will step into the MMA Bushido cage, but only one can be the true King of Kings. In the first semi-final fight Ahmed Mohammad Zhabbar Al Rubai of Iraq will face Belarus’ Vitaliy But. Zhabbar has fought twice before in NFG and is 1-1 in the promotion. He will try to use his experience advantage to oust the Belarusian. On the other side of the bracket Musa Abdurakhmanov of Russia takes on Belarusian fighter Kirill Grishenko in what could be a very even matchup. The two winners will square off later in the evening in the finals.
The main event features a Middleweight Title Fight between local hero Pavel Masalski and the undefeated Maziar Elhamivarmezani of Iran. Although Masalski started his career off on the wrong foot, he is 5 -1 in his last six fights, all of his wins coming by stoppage. He is also undefeated in NFG / MMA Bushido. Elhamivarmezani has only been fighting for a year and a half, but his fights up to this point have looked impressive with all three wins by KO. With the added incentive of the NFG Middleweight Title at stake, the bar for this fight has been set very high. The full fight card for the evening can be found below.
